London's river offers many possibilities for recreation. Walk or cycle the Thames Path to Kew and Richmond in one direction; to Barnes and beyond in the other. Rowing clubs and water sports proliferate between Chiswick Bridge and Hammersmith Bridge, with solo rowers, races and regattas plying the waters.
